An honest letter to first-time travelers from our Kochi office.

There is a particular kind of relief that comes from someone else handling the boring parts of a trip — the routing, the visa appointment, the 2am gate change that needs a rebooking. We started Hashloom because we wanted that relief for ourselves. We had relatives in Poland and friends in Bengaluru and nobody had a single trusted travel partner who covered both communities equally.

So we built one. Two offices, two communities, one standard. WhatsApp because that is where people already are. Real humans because there is no algorithm that knows your mother needs an aisle seat near the back.

This blog is where we share what we are learning. Some of it is destination notes — places we have personally been and want to send you to. Some of it is process notes — how we decide which fare to book when there are five options that look identical. And some of it is just stories from the road, the kind you accumulate when you spend your days talking to travelers.
